Ezekiel Hernandez is from the city of Downey, California, and went to Bellflower Middle School and High School. During High School, he studied Screen Printing and Graphic Arts in 10th Grade. Studied Jazz Band, Screen Printing, and Weight Training in the 11th Grade. Studied Jazz Band, Guitar Course One, AP Music Theory in the 12th Grade before graduating with a 3.5 GPA from Bellflower Mid/High School on June 18, 2014. In 2009, co-founded an original thrash-metal band with integrated death metal and performed at Mirror Image Studios on June 10th, 2011, the band split up, reunited in 2012, and then split up again. During 2011-2012, as a solo electric guitarist, he covered and pre-recorded songs by the bands Venom, Death, Possessed, Cannibal Corpse, and Obituary (vocals & guitar). Ezekiel co-founded an original groove-death-metal band and pre-recorded four original songs during his junior year of high school up until 2016, the three piece band split up. He auditioned and performed in a Jazz/Pop Rock ensemble in high school for his last two years upon graduating. In 2014, started to study rock and jazz notation with the additional assistance and lessons from Professor Mandeda Uch at the Bellflower Music Center. Later took Jazz Improvisational courses with Professor Adam Schroeder from 2015-2016 at Cerritos College. Mr. Hernandez auditioned and performed for the Jazz Ensemble of 2015 and Pop Rock Ensemble of 2019 at Cerritos College. Ezekiel Hernandez is now a re-made metal, jazz, pop, and rock fusion guitarist, musician, arranger, and composer who is currently pursuing a certificate in Commercial Music starting in 2023. Ezekiel as a contemporary guitarist has graduated with a certificate of Commercial Music with High Honors at Compton Tartar Community College on June 7, 2024
